Devsteem ("we", "us") is a full-stack software studio. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what you choose to send us, we set no tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
The only personal information this site collects is what you submit voluntarily through our contact form or the in-page chat — typically your name, company, email address, the service you're interested in, and your message. Nothing is collected silently in the background: we run no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no fingerprinting.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and discuss your project.
- To prepare proposals or agreements you ask us for.
We do not add you to marketing lists, send newsletters, or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies — no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no preference cookies. That's why you don't see a cookie consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
Third-party services
- Form delivery (Web3Forms). When you submit the contact form or chat, your message is relayed to our inbox by Web3Forms. Your submission is processed under their privacy policy.
- Content delivery networks. Open-source libraries that power the site's animations are served from public CDNs (jsDelivr, unpkg). Your browser requests those files directly, which exposes your IP address to the CDN, as with any web resource.
- Embedded client sites. The "Explore the builds" section can load live client websites inside a preview frame — only after you tap a project. Those sites are operated by their owners and may set their own cookies once loaded, governed by their own policies.
Retention
We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence. If you'd like an inquiry deleted, tell us and we'll remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've sent us. Email us and we'll take care of it promptly. As a UK-based studio we handle personal data in line with the UK GDPR; depending on where you live (e.g., the EU/EEA under GDPR or California under CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights — we honour reasonable requests regardless of jurisdiction.
Changes
If we change how this site handles data — for example, if we ever add analytics — we'll update this policy and the effective date above, and add a consent mechanism if one becomes required.
